SkyShower

Shower only when it rains.

“SkyShower—Shower Only When It Rains” is a speculative design project that envisions a world where personal hygiene aligns with natural weather patterns.  The name “SkyShower” playfully combines the concepts of showering and rainfall.

This project consists of three elements:

  1. Interactive indoor shower installation -  mimic the size and utility of a standard shower
  2. Shower forecast app - indicate when showering is possible based on rainfall predictions
  3. Collection of massage soap brushes - effective in both wet and dry conditions to ensure comfort on non-rainy days.

By linking showering directly to rainfall, “SkyShower” invites users to reconsider the relationship between technology and natural resources.

The Waiter

“The Waiter” serves people who are waiting.

  1. Dragging it to a place where people want to take a photo is the appetizer.
  2. Brushing Cyanotype sensitizer and inserting photo paper into the dark chamber are the main course.
  3. As for the dessert, it would be a joyful moment to witness images coming out. (about 4 hours)
