SkyShower
Shower only when it rains.
“SkyShower—Shower Only When It Rains” is a speculative design project that envisions a world where personal hygiene aligns with natural weather patterns. The name “SkyShower” playfully combines the concepts of showering and rainfall.
This project consists of three elements:
- Interactive indoor shower installation - mimic the size and utility of a standard shower
-
Shower forecast app - indicate when showering is possible based on rainfall predictions
- Collection of massage soap brushes - effective in both wet and dry conditions to ensure comfort on non-rainy days.
By linking showering directly to rainfall, “SkyShower” invites users to reconsider the relationship between technology and natural resources.
The Waiter
“The Waiter” serves people who are waiting.
- Dragging it to a place where people want to take a photo is the appetizer.
- Brushing Cyanotype sensitizer and inserting photo paper into the dark chamber are the main course.
- As for the dessert, it would be a joyful moment to witness images coming out. (about 4 hours)
